Founder and frontman of Kogi, Mark previously worked in some of the most prestigious five star hotels, held the position of Food & Beverage Director, all before the age of 30. With the pedigree of a world class restauranteur, Mark came up with the idea of starting a taco truck after growing accustomed to the late-night plight of chefs in need of good food after their shifts. Kogi merged the tradition of Korean BBQ with another local LA cultural fixture—the taco truck. The idea took off in an instant.
