Miyoko Ohtake is the associate editor at Dwell, where she writes and edits articles ranging in topic from barstools to backyard sheds, Danish designers to Australian architects. She earned a bachelor's degree in architecture from the University of Toronto and a master’s degree in journalism from Syracuse University and plans to perfect her knowledge of Los Angeles landscape and layout at this year’s Dwell on Design. Ohtake will be leading a Conversation about navigating the design media and getting work published as well as bringing to life two of the magazine sections that she edits: Design Finder and Process (once on the Design Innovation stage and once at the Sustainability Forum). When not mixing, mingling, or moderating, she’ll likely be found at the Dwell on Design store picking up new wares.
